People go here to see, smell and taste product innovations. I am there every year to experience exactly that. I also always have a permanent place at my customer Son Kitchen right next to the little star on the exhibition grounds between Hall 17/18.
Visibility = SonKitchen
The idea was born at some point that our customer SonKitchen became my office for BCB - so I supported the customer with goods for the trade fair and was able to better schedule my business appointments on site - WIN WIN!
Berliner Flaschenteufel (BFT)
If the warehouse is empty, all you have to do is call the Flaschenteufel and the goods will be delivered promptly - one of my most flexible partners when it comes to speed. Thanks Micha (left & Matze (right i.B.).
How do my customer visits actually come about? Network! This visit to the 5-star Sly hotel in Berlin Friedrichshain alone showed me that networking is everything.
A friend and industry partner had already mentioned my products and "pre-sold" me. The customer was delighted and will take up the product if the drinks supplier joins in.
Here I am!
Setting up displays is also part of my job. There is nothing I can't do.
That's the big question. I'm a fan of visits myself, but sometimes I replace the visit with a phone call - that saves time and you have certainty straight away.
I drive several hundred kilometers a week. It's hard to say exactly how much, but by the end of the week it can be close to 600.

I was at the Uber Arena in Berlin Friedrichshain a while ago. When I looked into the restaurants there, I spotted a new customer. I walked in and asked him who was delivering. The answer was once again: I do the shopping myself.
I then told him that I could be the solution to his logistical challenge. All of this costs you so much time that you could possibly put into other projects.
The customer is now being supplied by the Berliner Flaschenteufel. He has my full range and even products from other partners that I recommended to him.
Whenever I'm out and about, I hear - I don't know that yet. That's exactly why I have such brands in my portfolio - they generate more sales and attract attention. In Berlin, consumers are more curious than in other cities - that's why we are so successful with the brands in our portfolio.
